Part of the Sanctum of the Archmage saga is being developed in the form of a series of Computer-based Role-Playing Game (CRPG) modules. The first two chapters of the series are complete, and were built in the Aurora Engine and toolset used by Neverwinter Nights. They are available for download from the Neverwinter Nights Vault, where they were inducted into the NWN modules Hall of Fame. The next three chapters (completing Part II of the saga, "The Miracle Worker") are also planned for development in Neverwinter Nights' Aurora Engine. The final two chapters, comprising Part III of the saga, "The Alliance," are planned for development in the Eclipse Engine and toolset used by Bioware's new CRPG, Dragon Age. The part of the saga being developed in the form of CRPG modules is the "backstory" leading up to the beginning of the first novel. The modules tell the origin story of some of the major characters appearing in the novels, and of the first rebellion against the reign of The Black Magus. In them, the player assumes the role of the protagonist of the saga, a mysterious figure known as "The Miracle Worker." Gifted with a unique kind of foresight that may prove to be the only hope for defeating the Warlord, he becomes the close friend and ally of the deposed Princess of Carlissa, now the only surviving member of the royal family. And together, they struggle to turn a fragile rebel force into a powerful alliance that could free their kingdom from the ravages of the demon horde. Sanctum of the Archmage Game Modules:
